After School and Before School
Children in our After-school program will be encouraged to pursue their academics while with us. We offer tutoring for those that need it. The school age kids spend their time in a separate building from the pre-school age children. Children in this program are automatically eligible for our Tae Kwon Do classes at no extra charge (except uniforms and test fees).
Summer Camp
The Young Children’s Academy is now offering an exciting and adventurous Summer Camp program for elementary age children, entering Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Our Summer Camp program will start on Monday June 7, 2010 and will run until school starts in August.
We will be offering a variety of field trips to places throughout the community such as the water fountain park in Venice, local Libraries, Oscar Scherer Park and Mote Marine Aquarium (a few will require an additional fee and are optional participation).
We will also have weekly water play on a giant inflatable water slide, Tae Kwon Do lessons, boxing bag lessons,* dancing classes*, arts and crafts, outdoor exploration and fort building, creek fishing, chess, computers, movie and pizza day and much more. Our program has small groups and is staffed with adults and well supervised.
Our goal is to keep your children happy and engaged over the summer. We will also be keeping the children’s minds engaged through science and nature activities and creative reading and writing projects. We also offer some tutoring for children experiencing difficulty in school.
